A N I M E
In what looks like an attempt to give the Digimon game fans a nod, give Ken a backstory on
why he became Kaizer/Emperor and to link the anime and the games in some sort of continuity Ryo
has made sporadic "blink-and-you'll-miss-him" appearances throughout the series culminating in
some decent screentime as a quasi-supporting character in Tamers.
