Basic Info
The Wonderswan is a Gameboy-like handheld console developed by Bandai. While it is quite common in Japan, it has not been released overseas.

Slightly smaller than the Gameboy Advance one of the main features of the Wonderswan is that it can be played both horizontally and vertically depending on the game. The Digimon RPGs are all played horizontally. Like the Gameboy, two consoles can be connected via cable to allow for multiplayer action. An add-on accessory can also be purchased to allow transfer of information and multiplayer battles from the various Digivices on the market (Digivice, D-Terminal, D-3, D-Ark, etc...) to the WS.

There are currently three Wonderswans out on the market, the original monochrome Wonderswan, the Wonderswan Color and the new SwanCrystal.
